Volunteer for the 30th Anniversary Lombardi Gala

It’s that time of year again! This is our first call for volunteers for the 2016 Lombardi Gala. Come be part of one of the most respected fundraising events in D.C.! Every dollar raised goes to fund much needed cancer research, treatment and education at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.

To those of you who have volunteered in the past, THANK YOU for your dedication to this great cause. This event would not be possible without the help of generous people like you. If you haven't volunteered before, it can be a fun and rewarding experience, so please consider lending your time.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 29th, 2016 at the Washington Hilton. We are in need of 75+ volunteers from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. to make this entire event take place - so we are inviting you to please join us. If you have a friend that we can count on who would be interested in volunteering, please pass this information on to him or her!

Free parking in the Hilton garage and dinner are provided. There is also a special drawing for a Hilton prize.

Volunteer orientations will be held in October at Georgetown University. All volunteers are required to attend one of the two orientations that are offered.

So why not volunteer and get to be a part of the inner workings of this great event? Please contact Dorothy Abernathy at dja57@georgetown.edu if you would like to participate.

Thank you very much!
